PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATES was established in 2016. The organization evolved from operating as a construction management consulting firm, "Progressive Construction Management" in operation for more than 20 years, to a more diverse company that offers it's clients all of the experience and talent gained during those yers plus a focus on Development.
ERIC FENCHEL, PRESIDENT has more than 35 years of industry experience in broad based project development and construction management. Mr. Fenchel has help Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and corporate Vice-President position with prominent national andd California based general contracting and development firms. Mr. Fenchel holds licensing as a General Contractor. He is a graduate of California State University at Sacramento with Executive MBA Studies at Pepperdine Universit. He has attended industry seminars in Construction Law and Contracts (AIA) and Client, Project specific formats. He also completed the Real Estate Broker Program, University of San Francisco. Mr. Fenchel holds an Inspection Certification with the Department of the State Architect, State of Califfonnia. His experience includes extensive emphasis on senior and assisted living facilities as well as all health care related facitiites.
Prior to the establishment of PDA, Susan was the Principal of a "WBE", Woman Owned Business Enterprise, "Progressive Construction Management". founded in 1996. She previously worked as a project engineer for Chevron Corporation in San Ramon, CA assigned to the Angola Business Unit, Oil Platform Construction Team. Before Chevron, Susan was the City Clerk for the Town of Danville, and Deputy City Clerk for the City of Vista, CA. Her public administrative experience has provided her an intuitive understandingof the municipal, political process.Her administrative, contract and customer service experience along with her Construction Management Certification (CCM) from Diablo Valley College prepared her to form and support an organization that provides excellent professional project management to non-profit, public agencies, private and for-profit development clients.
